Sarjapur Estates presented one of our most challenging yet rewarding renovation briefs: the client wanted their aging 15-year-old independent house transformed into a modern family home — without losing the mature landscaping and neighbourhood character they loved.
The project began with a thorough structural audit, which revealed deteriorated roof slabs, corroded reinforcement in two pillars, and an outdated electrical load system. We started with complete structural remediation before any cosmetic work began — reinforcing the affected columns, replacing the roof slab, and upgrading the service systems throughout.
The interior transformation followed a clean, contemporary brief: open-plan ground floor with a seamless living-dining-kitchen flow, concealed wiring and plumbing, vitrified tile flooring throughout, and a new staircase replacing the original narrow one. The result is a home that feels brand new in every detail while maintaining the original G+1 footprint.
